Dried Lotus leaves have a lovely light yellow-green grassy colour, rolled into rough pearl shapes with some stems included, unfurl when steeped.

How does it taste?

The leaves of the Exotic Lotus flower steep to present a lovely bright yellowish-green liquor with a floral scent. The taste is mild with surprising notes of salt and a lingering aftertaste of hay and anise.

For Best Brewing

Hot Tea
  250ml just-boiled water
  1 to 2 teaspoons
  3 to 5 minutes
   Add a teaspoon of honey or your preferred sweetener.
  Gradually increase steeping time and temperature for subsequent brewing.

Iced Tea
  250ml just-boiled water
  1 to 3 teaspoons
  3 to 5 minutes
Pour over glass with ice.
    Add a teaspoon of honey or your preferred sweetener.

Cold-Brew Iced Tea
  250ml cold water
  1 to 3 teaspoons
  Chill in the fridge for at least 4 hours, up to 48 hours.
Pour over glass with ice.
    Add a teaspoon of honey or your preferred sweetener.

    Honestly, I don't like teas but Lotus Leaf Tea is an exemption. I can drink this tea even without sweeteners added.
