Goji Jujube Longan Tea

Goji berries are a superfood for new moms as they are packed full of antioxidants and have natural healing and anti-ageing properties.

Jujubes, also known as Chinese dates, are small, reddish-brown berry-like fruits. The slices are cut into circular shapes and offer a yellow-brown inner and a darker brown dried skin.

Sometimes known as ‘Dragons Eye’, Longan fruits have a light yellow outer skin and an off-white fleshy inside with a dark seed. Dried Longans take on a reddish-brown colour both inside and on the outside.

How does it taste?

Drink goji berry tea and savour the initial hint of bitterness followed by a sweet ripe berry taste. The texture is warm and soothing with a herbal aroma that lingers as you sip. When you are done, you can eat the delicious berries!

Jujube, which is sometimes referred to as Chinese date, is a type of fruit that has been part of the Chinese diet for nearly 2,000 years. Weak blood levels are typical after childbirth; hence it helps rejuvenate and replenish blood levels as these little dates have 80% more vitamin C than fruits such as grapes and apples.

Let your eye linger on the rich, red liquor, and your nose enjoy the aroma of lush, exotic plantations. The taste is mellow, full-bodied and naturally sweet. As a result of the drying process, you are left with a creamy, musky lingering earthy aftertaste.
