How does it taste?

Known as ‘Sweet Root’, after steeping, your liquor has a lovely light yellow colour. Sip and let your palate enjoy the naturally sweet taste mingled with notes of aniseed. The texture is light and refreshing and the aroma lingers with a hint of sweetness.

Health Benefits

Use this tea to relieve stomach problems, ulcers and heartburn. It can aid indigestion, help with constipation and is also beneficial for treating common colds, flu and sore throats. Although liquorice is not a typical anti-inflammatory Chinese medicine, it also has certain anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic effects and is sometimes written into the prescription with anti-inflammatory effects.
