Delicate purple, violet, blue and lilac young buds with tightly packed petals, forming Christmas-tree like triangular shapes, enclosed in green sepals.
How does it taste?
Lavender is feminine, graceful and elegant – the perfect tea for a ladies luncheon. Relax and enjoy the smooth, yellow-gold colour of the liquor, the floral aroma and the taste that is herbaceous, woody, slightly smoky with lingering notes of apple orchards.
Sipping a cup of Lavender tea before bedtime will promote a restful and peaceful sleep. In the morning it balances the mood and relaxes the body, preparing you for the day ahead. Use it to reduce muscle spasms and help to heal inflammations.
WATER: 250ml | TEMPERATURE: 90ºC | TEA: 1 – 2 teaspoon
Place 2 teaspoons of tea into your cup. Add water into your cup until leaves are fully submerged. Swirl your cup for 5 seconds and discard water. This is called the rinsing process. Add 250ml hot water and allow the tea to steep for 3 to 5 minutes. Add raw honey to taste. Gradually increase steeping time and temperature for subsequent brewing.
For iced tea, double the amount of tea and allow to steep for at least 5 minutes. Add ice and serve. Long brewing periods will render a bolder flavour. Re-steep 2 more times.
